We Make History
Proudly Presented
The 2003
American Heritage Festival
The 2003 American Heritage Festival was the first annual of this unique educational event presented by We Make History each November in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Each November the
American
Heritage Festival is a grand scale
presentation of diverse
civilian and military aspects of historic American life as portrayed by an experienced cast of hundreds of historical interpreters assembled from
around the country.
Included are battle reenactments, portrayals of famous men and women, musicians,
craftsmen, colonists, pioneers, ministers, mountain men and more ranging from
Colonial days and the American Revolution, to the Civil War, the era of western expansion,
and on through the 20th century. An 18th century "Great Awakening" style
church service is featured as well as many historic merchants who offer a unique shopping experience.
