Lunch

A $3 Italian lunch anyone?

Option1: A Calzone (in effect a 6" cheese pizza that has been folded up like a turnover) will be available for only $3! Calzones are tasty, non-messy and easily eaten on the go!

Option 2: An Italian Sausage Sandwich for only $3!

Lunch will be available all day from 9 to 5 and will be supplied by one of the Valley's top Italian restaurants which has been highly recommended by the Scottsdale Tribune. (Please... As we are keeping lunch prices so low on these outstanding calzones and sandwiches we ask that there be no sack lunches brought in this year other than for those individuals with special dietary/medial needs.)

A. No. Cash only please.

Q. What hours will the event be open to the public?

A. We are planning on being open from 9AM to 5PM on both Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th. This is a “rain or shine” event!

Q. Will the two days be the same or different.

A. Each day will have both similarities and differences. For instance the historic Great Awakening style church service is on Sunday only. The line-up of battle reenactments will be different each day as well. Many enjoy attending both days.

Q. Is there a printed schedule or event map available?
A. Schedules and maps will be given out as you enter the event.

Q. If I leave the event can I come back again?
A. For security reasons we ask that there please be no reentry other than for unusual circumstances.

Q. Is it OK to bring food or beverages into the event?
A. No, other than for infants or those with special needs such as diabetics.

Q. Will there be food and beverages available?
A. Yes. Food & beverages will be for sale at reasonable prices inside the event.

Option 2: An Italian Sausage Sandwich for only $3!

Q. Should the public come "in costume"?
A. For safety, security, organizational and presentational concerns it is best to leave the period style clothing to our participants who are experienced historical reenactors in authentic reproduction attire. However, children who are dressing as per their homework for an educational outing are welcome to do so.

Q. Will there be historic merchants present again and will they be open to the public?
A. Yes, a variety of interesting merchants will be present.

Q. Is it OK to pass out flyers, pamphlets or information at the event?
A. No. This is against event rules.

Q. Are pets allowed?
A. No, other than trained animals assisting those with impairments.

Q. May we bring folding chairs into the event?
A. Yes. They may be set up in the battlefield viewing area but not in the encampment area. Please do not set up so as to block someone else's view.

Q. Will the public be allowed onto the battlefield?

A. ONLY at specific announced times such as for the historic church service and during ANNOUNCED opportunities to learn about the artillery pieces. Anyone crossing onto the battlefield (which shall be “roped off”) during other times may be expelled from the event. This is for your safety!

A. Yes. You are welcome to explore the shops and other public areas of Schnepf Farms after your time at the American Heritage Festival.
